PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can be miniaturized, can be made light in weight, can reduce the cost and can suppress power consumption. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 comprises at least: a liquid crystal panel 3; a backlight LED 15 which illuminates the liquid crystal panel 3 from the back surface; and an operation button 12, wherein the backlight LED 15 and the operation button 12 are mounted on a backlight substrate 11.
