PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing a dithiocarbamate pesticide, which reduces analysis periods and artificial error factors by facilitating operations and is improved in safety for analysis works. SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of sealing a sample including the dithiocarbamate pesticide into a vessel along with an acid, carrying out an acid decomposition and introducing a head space gas which includes carbon disulfide generated by the decomposition in the sealed vessel, into a gas chromatograph; a step of detecting the carbon disulfide by separating it from other components in the gas chromatograph; and a data processing step of obtaining a concentration of the dithiocarbamate pesticide by processing a detected signal.
