PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a plate relative to operation input of a cable. SOLUTION: In the cable mounting structure for the transmission control device, a fastening pin 8 formed with a screw part 7 and a plate rotation floating prevention pin 11 are provided on a transmission select lever 2, and a fastening long hole 17 for inserting the fastening pin or the plate rotation floating prevention pin and a positioning hole 19 are provided on an intermediate plate. A fastening nut 18 is fastened to a screw part of the fastening pin inserted to the fastening long hole from a side where the control cable 3 is provided such that a long axis L of the fastening long hole 17 and a long axis M of the positioning hole 19 and an extension line of a cable axis K of the control cable are crossed to fix the intermediate plate 5 to the transmission select lever 2.
