PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display in which spacers can be disposed without causing disconnection in wiring layers of each electron source. SOLUTION: The display comprises a first substrate having an electron source array, a frame member, and a second substrate having a phosphore pattern, wherein a space surrounded by the first substrate, the frame member and the second substrate is made a vacuum atmosphere. The spacers are provided between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate has recess structures which are installed at least at crossing regions of the wiring layers of the each electron source and the spacers and inside which the wiring layers are installed. With the disposing intervals of the electron sources adjacent in the first direction being represented by P and with the thickness of the spacers in the first direction being represented by t, t≤P/10 is satisfied.
