<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intake of melanosome from a melanocyte to a keratinocyte, and the diffusion of melanin to the horny layer, to thereby achieve skin-whitening effect. <P>SOLUTION: The melanin transportation and/or release inhibitor contains a casein-hydrolyzate as an active ingredient. The casein-hydrolyzate is preferably prepared by decomposing milk casein with a proteolytic enzyme originated from Aspergillus oryzae. In a more preferable embodiment, the casein hydrolyzate has at least 20% or more, preferably at least 40% degradation rate represented by the percentage of amino nitrogen based on the whole nitrogen content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
