PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving display apparatus by reducing dead spaces due to wiring members in a flexible display. SOLUTION: The display apparatus includes a display element 128 which is held with at least an optical function layer between a first electrode 102 and a second electrode 108 disposed so as to intersect on a flexible substrate 100 of a rectangular shape and in which each intersection of the both electrodes forms a display pixel 120. The first electrode 102 and the second electrode 108 have a first flexible wiring member 112 and second flexible wiring member 114 respectively connected on the side of a first side and a side of a second side adjacent to each other among the peripheral edges on the flexible substrate 100. Either one of the flexible wiring members 112 or 114 is stuck onto the display element 128 formed on the flexible substrate 100 and has the first and the second connecting parts 130, 132 to be connected to an external driving section disposed on the same side as the flexible wiring member connected to the other side.
