PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly arrange a spring for energizing a valve of a solenoid valve gear in a valve opening direction. SOLUTION: An armature 23, of which one end is pivotally supported around a fixing shaft 38 so as to swing, and other end abuts on a stem 18 of a valve 17, is attracted alternately by a first electromagnet 21 fixed on a cylinder head 12 and a second electromagnet 22 swinging around the fixing shaft 38 so as to change a lift amount of a valve 17 optionally. A first valve spring 47 for energizing the valve 17 in a valve closing direction is arranged on an outer periphery of the stem 18, and a second valve spring 53 which is energized in a valve opening direction is arranged between a first spring seat 51 provided on a tip end of a guide rod 50 extending from a lever 23d of the armature 23 and a second spring seat 52 provided on the lever 23d of the second electromagnet 22. Therefore, it is unnecessary to arrange the second valve spring 53 on an extended line of the stem 18 of the valve 17, and a size of the solenoid valve gear 20 can be reduced.
