PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed for a bedrock bath in which stone slabs and herb trays for storing herb can be easily put in and taken out from a stone slab/herb tray storage space, then, the stone slabs and the herb can be easily replaced. SOLUTION: The bed 1 for the bedrock bath is obtained by arranging, on a heat source 3, a bedrock 5 which is stored with the stone slabs 10 each composed of stone generating far IR, radiation, negative ions by being heated with the heat source 3. The bedrock 5 includes the stone slab/herb tray storage space 9 composed of a recession which is formed from vertical frames 6 and horizontal frames 7 arranged so as to orthogonally cross the vertical frames 6 and spaced away from the vertical frames 6. The stone slabs 10 each formed with a plurality of vertically penetrating through-holes, and the herb trays 11 which are arranged beneath the stone slabs and store the herb 12, are arranged in the stone slab/herb tray storage space 9 so that each of the stone slabs 10 and the herb trays 11 can be independently put in and taken out from the storage space 9.
