A method for controlling the particle size distribution of aggregates and a mixing apparatus for the same are provided to control the particle size distribution of mixed aggregates according to the purpose regardless of the particle size of aggregate lots or the number of screening times. A method for controlling the particle size distribution of aggregates comprises the steps of: checking the allowable upper and lower limits of pass mass percentage(%) for each standard particle size according to the final use purpose of the mixed aggregates, drawing the upper and lower limits as a graph, and then setting a particle size distribution reference line on the basis of the graph of the upper and lower limits; mixing samples of the predetermined rate from each aggregate lot produced in advance, and measuring the pass mass percentage for each standard particle size by screening the mixed samples according to the standard particle size; drawing a particle size distribution curve of the mixed samples as a graph on the basis of a measurement value; correcting the mixing ratio of each aggregate lot in order to dispose the particle size distribution curve between the upper and lower limits in comparison with the particle size distribution reference line and the particle size distribution curve; and making the mixed aggregates by mixing each aggregate lot according to the correction result. A mixing apparatus comprises a container(10), a variable barrier, split contact plates(30), and a mixing chamber(40). |
