An air vent for a vehicle is provided to prevent a noise due to a shock and to prevent damage to components through protruded parts damping the shock by installing a combining part having a damping hole. An air vent for a vehicle includes a horizontal grille(10) having a rotating shaft(11) rotating in a vertical direction to control a wind direction of air introduced from an air conditioner and having a guide(12) in the center, a vertical grille(20) separated from the horizontal grille at a predetermined interval and having a direction control unit with a guide shaft(24) guiding rotation in a horizontal direction, and a grille knob(30) restricted in a horizontal direction by inserting the guide shaft, having protruded parts(36) protruded left and right of the inserted guide shaft, and having a combining part(35) with a damping hole(37) at one of the protruded parts to damp a shock with the guide shaft.
