<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technique for equalizing the signal intensity of a receiving signal, irrespective of the distance. <P>SOLUTION: This equivalent-time sampling type radar is provided on a transmission side, with an electric power control signal generating part 2 for generating an amplitude-variable electric power control signal, in order to equalize the signal intensity of the reception signal, and an amplifying part 4 for controlling the transmission electric power of a pulse sequence-like transmission signal, by regulating the gain, in response to an amplitude of the electric power control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
