PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool suspension stand corresponding to a compatible tool, free from a restriction put on a conventional device. SOLUTION: In this tool suspension stand 20 for storing a tool 200, each tool 200 can be connected detachably to a movable arm of its coordinate measuring device, and a tool suspension portion for storing the tool 200 is provided. The tool suspension portion has a plurality of guides 60 capable of inserting the tool 200 into the suspension portion along the first direction and removing it from inside the suspension portion along the first direction, and a plurality of holding surfaces for restricting movement of the tool 200 toward the second direction, and the plurality of guides 60 and the plurality of holding surfaces are arranged to generate inclination of the tool 200.
