PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording device capable of additionally writing to an already finalized medium and an optical disk reproducing device capable of reproducing added information. SOLUTION: When performing finalizing processing, an additional writing permission flag is recorded in an access indicator area of a DMA area. Further, when a control part instructs an optical disk recording means to perform recording processing for the optical disk subjected to the finalizing processing, the optical disk recording means checks whether or not the additional writing permission flag is recorded by referring to the access indicator area. When it is recorded, it records information on an information recording area and records the latest DMA information on a TDMA area. When performing reproduction, it is checked whether the additional writing permission flag is recorded in the access indicator area of the DMA area of the optical disk.
