PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp the relevance of the change of the layout of service providing means and the change of the generating circumstances of a queueing, and to easily and quickly design the layout of proper service providing means. SOLUTION: This space design system is provided with a service condition input part for inputting the mean service time of service providing means and the mean arrival rate of a user and a queue calculation part for calculating the length of the queue of the user and the mean standby time and mean reply time of the user. When the layout conditions of the service providing means are input, the queue calculation part performs the simulation of the generating status of the queueing, and a display part displays an image and a numeric value showing the generating status of the queueing.
