PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force control device for an electrically assisted bicycle and the electrically assisted bicycle capable of extending a cruising distance without changing practical magnitude and occasion of assist driving force to be applied. SOLUTION: When an assist driving force control part 109 determines that the electrically assisted bicycle is travelling on a downslope based on an inclination angleαdetected by an inclination angle detecting part 105, the assist driving force ta is lowered comparing with the assist driving force for travelling on a flat road.
