PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire improving uneven wear resistance during linear traveling while improving controllability and stability during turning traveling. SOLUTION: Circumferential rigidity in right and left sides of belt layers 4, 4 and belt cover layers 5, 5a, 5b arranged on the outer periphery of the belt layers 4, 4 is set to be asymmetric. The belt cover layers 5, 5b with lower circumferential rigidity are arranged on the belt layer 4b side with higher circumferential rigidity, and the belt cover layers 5, 5a with higher circumferential rigidity are arranged on the belt layer 4a side with lower circumferential rigidity.
