PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undergarment type disposable diaper free from fixing work to make it easily be worn, providing more comfort when worn, and securely preventing lateral leak from a waist part when a user is in bed looking sideways. SOLUTION: In the undergarment type disposable diaper, a crotch absorption member is disposed and fixed on a crotch part between a front part and a back part, the front part is formed in roughly similar width to that of the crotch part, and both sides of the back part are formed wide to be both side parts. The wide side parts are extended to the front part, and side edges of the side parts are joined with side edges of the front part to form leg hole parts on both sides of the crotch part. The front part and the back part are joined with each other at other parts than right and left waist parts across the front part and the back part.
