A reduction gear for a blind, used to reduce the speed of a shielding member of the blind when it is lifted and lowered, in which weights are stably supported and operated without an increase in the size of the reduction gear. The reduction gear has a casing (12), a rotor (14) rotatably supported in the casing (12), and weights (16) rotated together with the rotor (14) in such a way that they can be in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the casing (12). A circular hollow cylindrical shaft part (14a) and weight support parts (14b) radially projecting from the peripheral surface of the shaft part (14a) at equal intervals in the circumferential direction are formed on the rotor (14). One end of each weight (16) is swingably supported by a weight support part (14b) extending over the entire length of the weight (16). |
