The rollover protection system has sensor controlled rollover bar (1) which lies in a rest position in the operational normal condition. An active, mechanically driven-interaction is provided between the pyrotechnic releasing element (4) and the rollover bar. The interaction is in form of an initial aid in the starting phase of the spring drive (2) with the mounting of the rollover bar after releasing the mounting plate (3).
