<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion element capable of facilitating a structure in a whole element, and to facilitate its manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoelectric transformation element 15 includes a thermoelectric material 16, having a Skutterudite crystal structure; a pair of permanent magnets 17, 18 arranged so as to face by holding the thermoelectric material 16; a means for generating, in the thermoelectric material 16, temperature gradient ΔT3, in a direction that orthogonally crosses the direction of a magnetic field B2 generated by the permanent magnets 17, 18; and a pair of electrodes 19, 20 arranged in the thermoelectric material 16 by separation in a circumferential direction n that respectively orthogonally cross the direction of the magnetic field B2 and the direction of the temperature gradient ΔT3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
