OPTICAL FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having excellent transparency with less haze, excellent optical characteristics such as a small birefringence, good mechanical strength, good heat resistance and excellent moisture permeability, a polarizing plate using the optical film and an image display device using the polarizing plate.

SOLUTION: The optical film as a protection film for a polarizer is composed of a polypropylene resin synthesized by a metallocene catalyst. The polarizing plate is obtained by forming the optical film on at least one surface of a polarizer. The image display device is obtained using the polarizing plate.
