<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which, in a conventional RFID tag, the length of a slit for matching is determined from a service frequency or specification of an IC chip to be used and a minimum value for the size of a patch antenna is determined from the length of the slit, so that it may be possible that the RFID tag cannot be installed if a place to install the RFID tag is narrow in width. <P>SOLUTION: An RFID tag is disclosed which is provided with: a dielectric substrate; a grounding conductor layer arranged on a rear surface of the dielectric substrate; a conductor pattern which is arranged on a front surface of the dielectric substrate and includes a slot; and an IC chip for transmitting/receiving radio waves via the slot, wherein the slot includes a long and narrow slot and a bent slot which is continuous with a terminal portion of the long and narrow slot, is bent with respect to the long and narrow slot, and extends from a width of the long and narrow slot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
