摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming hybrid alignment having a predetermined average tilt angle in a liquid crystalline composition. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of forming hybrid alignment, a liquid crystalline polymer compound (I) having at least one polymerizable group, a compound (II) having at least two polymerizable groups and a liquid crystalline composition (III) containing a reaction initiator or, as necessary, a liquid crystalline composition (IV) containing a compound which has a polymerizable group different from (meth) acryloyl group and a (meth) acryloyl group are used, wherein the hybrid alignment having the desired average tilt angle is formed by controlling the composition ratio of the liquid crystalline polymer compound (I) to the compound (II) having at least two polymerizable groups in the liquid crystalline composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
