PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipeline type analog-to-digital converter constituted by connecting a plurality of stages each comprising a multiplication type digital-to-analog converter and a flash analog-to-digital converter in series, wherein a linearity error is corrected by measuring linearity due to a deviation in multiplication type digital-to-analog converter gain of at least one stage and adjusting the multiplication type digital-to-analog converter gain of the stage. SOLUTION: A cyclic analog-to-digital converter constituted by connecting a circuit block comprising a multiplication type digital-to-analog converter and a flash analog-to-digital converter as one stage, measures the linearity due to the deviation in multiplication type digital-to-analog converter gain and adjusts the multiplication type digital-to-analog converter gain.
