PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake having a simple clonking sound preventing mechanism preventing clonking sound of a pad during vehicle advance braking and during reverse braking, and having almost no influence on a dragging phenomenon of the pad. SOLUTION: The disk brake 1 has the pad 2, and a support member 3 movably supporting the pad 2 and provided with a pair of torque receiving parts 3b, 3c in both end side positions of the pad 2 to regulate movement of the pad 2 in both disk rotor directions. It has a first energizing member 7 constantly energizing the pad 2 from one torque receiving part 3b side to the other torque receiving part 3c, and a second energizing member 8 energizing the pad 2 toward the other torque receiving part 3c only when the pad 2 is moved toward the one torque receiving part 3b.
