PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve suppressing deposit generated on a needle side face. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve comprises: at least one injection port 22 injecting fuel; a valve body 2 having a seat part 23 formed to an inner peripheral face; a needle 3 supported to be axially movable, and blocking a flow of fuel into the injection port 22 by seating of a needle tip part 31 on an injection port 22 out of the axial direction to form a blocking part S between the needle 3 and the seat part 23; a different material member 4 having an exposed part 41 exposed to a needle side face 32 surrounded by the blocking part S out of the needle tip part 31. The exposed part 41 includes either material higher in at least one of oil-repellent-property or water-repellent property than a part other than the exposed part 41 on the needle side face, or material higher in photochemical stability against substance contained in fuel than a part other than the exposed part 41 on the needle side face 32.
