PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain prevention and interruption of fire between a new door and an existing door frame in case of fire in a remodeled door comprising the new door set in the existing door frame instead of an existing door. SOLUTION: An airtight material setting frame 4 is set around four sides of the frame of the new door 2, the airtight material setting frame 4 including a receiving groove 7 and a step retaining seat 10, and an indoor-side panel 12 is disposed to cover the in-plane part of the receiving groove 7, so that the receiving groove 7 and the step retaining seat 10 are serially exposed to the outer circumference of the indoor width face of the new door 2. A tape-like thermally expanding material 21 of graphite series or the like is precedently disposed in the depth directional bottom part of the receiving groove 7, the airtight material 20 is installed to the indoor side thereof, and the thermally expanding material 21 is similarly disposed in the step retaining seat 10 to be covered with the protruding base part of the airtight material 20. Even if the airtight material 20 is melted and burnt in case of fire, the thermally expanding material 21 expands to seal the existing door frame 1, whereby prevention and interruption of fire is attained.
