PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-inflammatory-and-analgesic pharmaceutical expressing its own anti-inflammatory activity earlier than the case with the single use of a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent such as diclofenac and enhancing its own anti-inflammatory activity as well. SOLUTION: The anti-inflammatory-and-analgesic pharmaceutical comprises a carpronium salt (especially, carpronium chloride) and a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent (especially, diclofenac). This anti-inflammatory-and-analgesic pharmaceutical is preferably to be orally administered, being useful for curing chronic articular rheumatism, osteoarthritis, spondylosis deformans, lumbago, neck-shoulder-arm syndrome, inflammation of a tendon sheath, after-pain, pelvic inflammatory disease, dysmenorrhea, cystitis, anterior eye part inflammation and neuralgia, or useful for the anti-inflammation/relief of pain after operation and tooth extraction, being particularly useful for curing shoulder stiffness, lumbago, and the like, caused by mental burden such as environmental stress.
