PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent method for controlling flies coming flying to a cattle or a habitat for a cattle. SOLUTION: The flies coming flying to a cattle or a habitat of a cattle can be controlled by treating the cattle or the habitat of the cattle with an agent of an aqueous poison bait prepared by dissolving a powdery composition for the agent of the aqueous poison bait comprising (a) 10-30 wt.% of 1-methyl-2-nitro-3-[(3-tetrahydrofuryl)methyl]guanidine, (b) 1-20 wt.% of a surfactant and (c) 60-80 wt.% of a water-soluble powdery carrier.
