PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding hopper capable of certainly feeding out a sheet block stored in a hopper section in a roof tile manner, sequentially from a lower sheet with the lap length held approximately constant. SOLUTION: At a lower part of a hopper section 12, a thrust-up member 22 which lifts up and down and moves the rear end of a sheet block B up-and-down is provided. A supply conveyer 1 and a feed conveyor 10 are driven with the thrust-up member 22 set in a lift-up/down state, and the sheet block B which is fed into the hopper section 12 from the supply conveyor 1 is made to be fed out in sequence from a lower sheet S by contact with a carrying surface of the feed conveyor 10.
