PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular saw for metal cutting, which solves all the problems of a conventional circular saw for metal cutting by adopting a configuration for forming cut-out parts for stuffing chips by the width on both sides of a flank of a tipped toothed body in a part of the circular saw and by forming a cut-in part for dividing chips in a central part on a flank of a tipped toothed body in a part of the other parts of the circular saw. SOLUTION: The circular saw A is constituted by arranging the tipped toothed bodies 2 having equal height in a peripheral fringe part of a disc-like main body at a predetermined pitch, by forming the cut-out parts 3, 3 for stuffing chips by the width on both sides of the flank 2a in a part of the tipped toothed bodies 2, and also by forming the cut-in part 5 for dividing chips at the center of the flank 2a in a part of the other parts of the tipped toothed bodies 2. The cut-out parts 3, 3 for cutting chips and the cut-in part 5 for dividing the chips are formed to have enough width for accepting expansion in the direction of width of the chips and enough depth for forming a space even for the maximum thickness of the chips.
