DRIVE POWER CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE

The application relates to a drive power control apparatus for modifiying the transfer function between an accelerator pedal and a throttle actuator. Depending on the region the vehicle is travelling or about the travel, the transfer function is boosted (uphil driving) or otherwise adjusted. In order to avoid discomformt for the driver and passenger, the adjustment is modified depending on a further paramater, in particular road curvature. Curves ahead can e.g. be input using GPS.
