摘要 A brake optimum device for a wheel excavator is provided to actuate a hydraulic brake as well as a mechanical brake when great brake torque value is necessary. A brake optimum device for a wheel excavator comprises a pressure sensor(10), a switching valve(7), and a controller(6). The pressure sensor is installed at a hydraulic line(L1) connected with a brake pedal valve(2) and an axle(5). The switching valve is shifted between a neutral position and a first position, wherein hydraulic pressure of a pilot pump(8) is connected with a volume change valve(4) of a travel motor(3). The controller does not send a signal to the switching valve, when the brake pedal valve pressure sensed by the pressure sensor is lower than a set value. When the brake pedal valve pressure sensed by the pressure sensor is larger than a set value, the controller sends a signal to switch the switching valve to the first position.
