Process and apparatus for manufacturing frameless windows

Process for manufacturing frameless windows (1, 2) which comprise a transparent pane (1), the lower edge of which is fixed in the slot (3) of one or more holders (2) by means of at least one layer of adhesive (4), which process comprises the following operating steps:
- arranging the pane (1) on a work-table (14);
- arranging the holders (2) on one or more mobile supports (19, 20) suitable for moving toward and from the lower edge of the pane (1) arranged on the work-table (14);
- moving the mobile supports (19, 20) toward the lower edge of the pane (1) so that this edge penetrates into the slot (3) of the holders (2), said adhesive (4) being arranged in this slot (3). The present invention also relates to an apparatus which can be employed for carrying out said process.
