<p>A method for analog-to-digital conversion of an analog input signal (AIN) into a digital output signal (DOUT) uses a successive approximation principle and comprises a first and a second series of steps for a determination of a bit N of the digital output signal (DOUT) as well as a first and a second series of steps for a determination of a further bit N+1 of the digital output signal (DOUT). At least one step of the second series of steps for the determination of the bit N of the digital output signal (DOUT) and at least one step of the first series of steps for the determination of the further bit N+1 of the digital output signal (DOUT) are simultaneously processed.</p> |
