A food-storage management system for a refrigerator and a method for storing food using the same are provided to inform a user about stored foods through a display, a lamp, and a speaker. A food-storage management system for a refrigerator comprises a voice input unit(710), a control unit(700), a voice signal processing unit(720), a display(320), an alarm unit(800), and a memory(750). The control unit receives a voice signal inputted through the voice input unit. The voice signal processing unit analyzes the voice signal received to the control unit. The display shows information about stored foods analyzed by the voice signal processing unit. The alarm unit is activated by the control unit according to the analyzed voice information, and notifies the information through a speaker(S) or a lamp(L). The memory stores the voice information. |
