An electromagnetic displacement control valve in a clutchless type variable displacement compressor is provided to maintain an inclination angle of an inclined plate of a compressor at the minimum even if a valve body is vibrated, since the valve body is moved by vibration towards a position that closes a valve hole and in a direction away from the position that closes the valve hole, when the valve body is at a position other than the position that closes the valve hole. An electromagnetic displacement control valve in a clutchless type variable displacement compressor(10) comprises a valve body, an electromagnetic driving unit(33), an elastic pressure member(48), and a counter elastic pressure member. The valve body is capable of opening and closing a valve hole(40) that forms a part of a supply path(30) for supplying refrigerant within a discharge pressure area(132) to a control pressure chamber(121). The electromagnetic driving unit drives the valve body toward a position that closes the valve hole. The elastic pressure member elastically exerts pressure on the valve body towards the position that closes the valve hole. The counter elastic pressure member elastically exerts pressure on the valve body in a direction away from the position that closes the valve hole. When there is no current supply to the electromagnetic driving unit, the valve body can be moved in the position that closes the valve body against the elastic pressure force of the elastic pressure member.
