<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen rack for easily associating specimen information with position information. <P>SOLUTION: This specimen rack 2 is equipped with accommodation parts 4 for accommodating a plurality of specimen containers each having an IC tag to be stored with specimen information, and each of the accommodation parts 4 is given a position number for signifying its position in the rack 2. An IC tag reader 6 stored with the position number of a relevant accommodation part 4 as position information is disposed on a bottom part of each of the accommodation parts 4. In the rack 2, when a specimen container having an IC tag stored with specimen information is accommodated by an accommodation part 4, the specimen information stored in the IC tag possessed by the accommodated container is read by the tag reader 6 and stored together with position information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
