METHOD FOR REVEAL OF PLACES OF INCUTS IN PIPELINES OF BUILT-UP AREAS

Method for reveal of placed of incuts to gas pipelines of built-up areas relates to gas industry and can be used in systems of gas supply for non-destructive control for reveal of non-authorized incuts. At the beginning of gas pipeline of built-up area state of which is to be diagnosed one connects counter of gas volume and mounts piezo-indicator with analyzer of acoustic signal. To the cavity of gas pipeline one installs elastic piston with connected to it on springy elements metal hammers that at motion are pressed to the inner surface of the pipe and slide over it. Under effect of pressure of transported gas the piston is displaced in gas pipeline at rate practically equal to average velocity of gas flow. At presence of opening in gas pipeline the hammer strikes the edge of the opening with formation of acoustic signal at that, this is propagated in the wall of the tube, received with piezo-indicator and is analyzed by signal analyzer. By showing of the indicator of gas volume and devices for measurement of its pressure and temperature distance from the beginning of the gas pipeline to incut place found is calculated by given algorithms.
