<p>The method involves driving a printing and driving cylinder and downstream driving cylinders (26, 30) of a rotary printing press (2) in synchronized way, during normal operation. A differential braking is applied for the printing and driving cylinder and the downstream driving cylinder in case of breaking of a paper tape (4). The tape is unwounded from a coil by an unwinding unit (6), and the tape is printed by printing units (U1, U2, U3, U4). The printed tape is dried by a drying unit (8), and the dried tape is cooled by a cooling unit (10).</p> |
