A terminal system for an image reply and an image service method using the system are provided to assign an intrinsic telephone number to an image reply apparatus to enable a customer to confirm an image regardless of time and space, and to send an image to a telephone number stored in the reply apparatus by using a send button only in an emergency, thereby offering security and monitoring effects. An image reply apparatus comprises as follows. A program memory(405) retains system operation algorithm to provide a 3G communication protocol by including image taking, calling, and displaying functions. A data memory(407) conducts efficient management for snap images or image-taken videos. A controller(401) accepts an input signal of a key button(315) based on the system operation algorithm, and carries out object recognition control by responding to the input signal. In addition, the controller controls the turning-on/off of a luminescent lamp(321) based on the quantity of light detected from an infrared sensor(311) to increase camera efficiency. A 3G communicator(403) delivers a taken or inputted image, sound, and a voice signal to a user terminal, and provides a voice signal received from the user terminal to the controller. |
