摘要 A shared channel scheduler device in a wireless packet communication system and a shared channel scheduling method using the same are provided to reduce an error rate of the overall transmission packets and improve system throughput by using a signal power-to-noise power ratio. When a call is established(S11), a user ID is received from an upper layer. It is checked whether a user will transmit or receive packet data(S12) and priority level of the user is set(S13). When packet data is received from the upper layer(S14), a service priority level is set(S15). Multi-quality service can be received according to a service provided by a service provider(S16). Data is transmitted by preferentially selecting a user having a good channel environment by using a channel state(C/I) received from the user(S18). Data to be transmitted next is received by a buffer(S19) and a scheduler checks a delay time after receiving the data by the buffer(S21). User throughput about how much data has been transmitted by each user is determined based on the amount of data transmitted form the buffer(S20). A priority level is calculated based on the calculated packet delay and the user throughput(S22). A service operator performs a user scheduling process with respect to the user ID, a service ID, the packet delay and the user throughput calculated from each information(S23) and transmits data(S24).
