An I2C(Inter-IC) communication system implemented with software is provided to realize a stable software I2C communication function by preventing missing data, which is caused by incorrect synchronization between a maser and a slave, based on an ACK(ACKnowledgement) signal between the master and the slave. A master transmits an SCL(Serial Clock) and SDA(Serial Data) to a slave. The slave transmits and receives data to and from the mater by being pointed by the master. An SCL line transfers the SCL, which is a synchronization signal, between the master and the slave. An SDL line transfers the SDA between the master and the slave. An ACK link enables the slave to information the master that data processing is completed. The synchronization signal is controlled by the ACK signal received from the slave. The ACK signal keeps the SCL in a high state to write or read the SDA of completion until a low state receiving the ACK signal from the slave when the master writes or reads the data from the slave, or the slave writes or reads the data from the master.
