<p>A broadcast receiving apparatus and a method for storing open caption information in the broadcast receiving apparatus are provided. The broadcast receiving apparatus includes a determiner which determines whether a received broadcast signal comprises open caption information; a detector which detects the open caption information, if it is determined that the open caption information is present; and a storage unit which stores the detected open caption information. Therefore, the open caption information may be stored and displayed, and thus user convenience can be enhanced.</p> |
