The invention relates to nuclear engineering, in particular to transportation and keeping solid bulk and solidified liquid radioactive wastes (RAW). Container for transportation and long-term storage of radioactive wastes includes body arranged as octagonal prism with alternating narrow and wide facets, and cover that is connected to the body. I the upper part the body had fit place for cover arranged as step. Place on cover connected to the body is made as step as well. At that the fit places on the body and the cover are reinforced with angle elements. Between the angle elements in horizontal plane lead gasket is installed, w this first has cross section and circle. Bottom of the body is made spherical, concave top inside, and the inner and the outer facets of the body are connected with radial connections to the bottom. The body and the cover are equipped with tackle units as loops with round cross section, Tackle units of the body are placed in the upper part of the narrow facets of the body and tackle units of the cover in the respective facets of the cover. Wide facets of the body are at above reinforced with channel bars, and the narrow facets and the lower ribs are vulcanized with rubber sheets. The invention provides improved tightness at place of joint of the body and the cover, maximal possibility of automation and use of same load-lifting manipulators in technological chain of operation of container and guaranteed quality of outer surface, this excludes possible damages at transportation and piling and thus increases safety and durability of operation. |
