A stacking accessory (10) for location at a corner of a stack of containers (36), the stacking accessory (10) including two diverging flanges (12) having an inner surface (14), outer surface (20), top edge (18.2), bottom edge (18.1), and side edges (16.1, 16.2), with a locating member (28) extending from the inner surface (14) and being located between the top edge (18.2) and the bottom edge (18.1), and an elongate flexible member (38) retaining means (22, 24) adjacent the outer surface (20), the locating member (28) in use being inserted between two containers (36) stacked vertically one on top of the other to locate and maintain the stacking accessory (10) in position relative to the containers (36) so that an elongate flexible member (28) can be retained by the retaining means (22, 24) of the stacking accessory (10), and be retained by the retaining means (22, 24) of other stacking accessories (10) located at each of the other corners of the stack of containers (36) when fastening the elongate flexible member (38)around the stack of containers (36) thereby to secure the containers (36) together to prevent them from being dislodged from the stack. |
