A device for measuring dryness, a dryer having the same, and a method for controlling the same are provided to prevent overheat of the inside of a drum by sensing a temperature change in the drum using first and second temperature sensors. A device for measuring dryness comprises a cabinet(50), a drum(60), an intake pipe(70), a supporting panel(62), first and second temperature sensors(210,220), and a control unit. The drum rotates in the cabinet and contains laundry. The intake pipe is linked to the drum, and guides air to flow. The supporting panel has a through hole on one end to connect with the intake pipe, wherein an end of the drum is installed to rotate. The first and second temperature sensors are formed at the through hole and the other end of the supporting panel, respectively. The control unit judges humidity in the drum by using a sensed temperature difference between the first and second temperature sensors. |
