A dial indicator display device is provided to improve readability of a needle indicator comprising an hour hand, a minute hand, and a second hand, since scales can be displayed according to a moving trace of each distal end of the hands. A dial indicator display device(1) comprises a set of needle indicators(31,32), a needle moving unit for moving the needle indicator, a display panel(20) installed behind the needle indicator for displaying an image, and a driving control unit for controlling the needle moving unit and display panel. The driving control unit comprises a scale display control unit displaying scales(21,22) on a scale display area(25,26) superposed on an area where the needle indicator moves, a needle indicator position detecting unit for detecting the position of the needle indicator, and an information display unit. The scale display control unit divides the scale display area into an index area(23,24) and a non-index area based on the detected position of the needle indicator, wherein the index area displays scales for reading a value directed by the needle indicator. The information display unit displays information in the non-index area.
