A wall plate is provided to facilitate mounting of a control handle to a switch body by clearly displaying a boundary line of a mounting position with a line display unit. A wall plate includes a plate frame(11) and a plate cover. The plate frame includes a pair of parallel length sides(13) and a pair of width sides(14) and is formed in a long rectangular shape in a vertical direction. A long rectangular-shaped mounting window(15) is surrounded by the length sides and the width sides and mounts at least one switch body. The plate frame includes an inner frame unit(30) and an outer frame unit(31). When the entire mounting window is covered by a control handle mounted to at least one switch body, the inner frame unit is covered by the control handle. The outer frame unit is continuously formed around the inner frame unit. The plate cover is mounted on a front surface of the plate frame to cover the plate frame.
