<p>Method and arrangement in connection with a motor fed with a frequency converter provided with an intermediate voltage circuit. The method comprises steps of feeding motor voltage to the motor (4) along a motor cable (U2, V2, W2) with a frequency converter (1) for controlling the motor, rectifying the voltage of the motor cable and restricting the magnitude of the voltage of the motor cable at the end of the motor cable on the side of the motor (4) with a clipper circuit coupled in parallel with the motor, using the rectified voltage for rotating one or more cooling fans (9) of the motor.</p> |
